Greater Manchester rehoming, advice and behaviour unit
Location Details
Welcome to Greater Manchester rehoming, advice and behaviour unit based in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester. We always have dogs and cats looking for loving new homes. Come and visit us, we'd love to see you.
Our rehoming, advice and behaviour unit means we can help hundreds of unwanted and abandoned pets in the Greater Manchester area to find new homes every year. Dogs spend their days in our comfortable home rooms, where they get to play and receive one-to-one care and attention from our team, and they spend the nights in local kennels. Our employees and volunteers also make sure our homeless dogs get the training and veterinary treatment they need. The unit features interactive rehoming screens where people can browse details of our pets needing homes as well.
We also run our Home Direct Scheme from our Greater Manchester site, which means we can help people in the local area find new homes for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, chinchillas and degus that they need to rehome without them having to come into the unfamiliar surroundings of kennels. We work very closely with other local rescues and will continue to take in homeless pound dogs from them. Plus, we will work with local veterinary practices to find new homes for pets who need them.
We are looking for volunteer foster carers who can offer short-term care to needy dogs, cats or small pets in their own homes. We’d love to hear from you if you can help pets who need an extra bit of care in a home environment.
Our Greater Manchester unit offers advice about pet care and rehoming.
